The Last Call of the Oasis

A free admission showing of the video “The Last Call of the Oasis” will be held on Earth Day, Tuesday April 22,2014 @6:30 p.m. at the Eau Claire Chippewa Valley Technical College, 620 Clairemont Ave. in the Big Rivers Conference Room in lower level of the main building. Parking in student lots.

The L.A. Times calls this film “a thorough examination of the epic crises threatening the world’s water supply that few people are paying attention to”. This is a “must watch” video and a wake-up call for America.

Students of all ages as well as the General Public are invited. Admission is free. Donations appreciated. This educational event will be hosted by the Save The Hills Alliance, Inc.  The film length is 105 minutes and is rated PG-13.

Courteous, concise comments relevant to the topic are welcome, whether or not they agree with the views that predominate here. Long rants proclaiming the infallibility of your own views or favorite ideology will not be posted, neither will repeated attempts to hammer on a point already addressed, nor will comments containing profanity, abusive language, flame-baiting and name calling. I have no idea what they were referring to and no way to contact them.
